The MASTER STATEROOM is forward with a custom queen-size berth. The mattress folds in half to make easy access to the storage beneath the berth. There are two high banks of drawers (12 total) on the starboard side next to a closet which contains an Asko normal-size clothes washer and an Asko dryer. On the port side is a hanging locker and additional drawers. Under the bed are two banks of drawers. The MASTER STATEROOM has an enclosed full bath to starboard which includes a teak seat in the shower. In addition, the MASTER STATEROOM has access to the head on the port side, which includes another full shower enclosure. The GUEST STATEROOM is to starboard and features a large berth with drawer storage underneath. This berth can be converted to a bunk configuration which, when in its "down" position, can also convert to a settee. In addition, there is a hanging locker with a TV above and a bank of drawers by the door entrance. The guest head is accessed both from the GUEST STATEROOM and from the MASTER STATEROOM, and it has a full shower enclosure. The MAIN SALON is up four steps from the staterooms. Moving aft to the MAIN SALON sliding doors, facing forward, one is impressed by the spaciousness and comfort of this area. To port is a large L-settee covered with white leatherette. A high-low Grand Banks teak table (with fold-in leaves) can convert to a low cocktail table, and is positioned in front of the settee. On the starboard side is the entertainment center including satellite TV, DVD, CD and surround-sound tuner amplifier. Swivel barrel chairs on each side of the entertainment cabinet are in matching white leatherette. Forward of the barrel chairs is a custom cabinet with a glass-panelled door and a wine and glass enclosure on the top. A helm seat covered in the white leatherette is forward of the glass cabinet with a refrigerator underneath the helm seat. Finally, on the starboard side, is the lower helm station, including all instrument controls for operating the vessel. Next to the helm station is an exterior door to the starboard deck. The galley is located opposite and to port and includes a second refrigerator and freezer. Varnished teak cabinetry is throughout, and a teak and holly cabin sole runs the length of the interior. The helmsman and guests enjoy excellent visibility, light and openness in the MAIN SALON, and opening windows and ports give fine ventilation when air conditioning is unnecessary. Miniblinds allow salon privacy and tasteful curtains are on the windows below in the staterooms and heads. The open airiness of the MAIN SALON is obvious, especially as one looks out through the sliding doors to the covered aft deck. The EUROPA style is most popular as owners and their guests appreciate the merits of such a spacious atmosphere aboard. The AFT DECK opens from the salon and is accessed through two sliding doors with windows above and fiberglass and teak below. There is a large hatch to the dry storage area and the engine room, which is accessed by a ladder. There are two lazarette hatches toward the stern accessing the second storage area. A teak table and four teak chairs fit comfortably on the aft deck. The stern Glendinning shore power cable retractor is located below the stern caprail. Finally, unique to CAROUSEL, there is a Glendinning engine control station, including bow thruster controls, at the aft deck. This makes stern-first docking flawless. Easily accessed by a sturdy stainless and teak handrailed ladder, the FLYBRIDGE features the L-settee (with storage underneath) on the starboard side, with varnished teak grate cocktail table in front. Forward of the settee is a cabinet with stainless steel sink and a refrigerator. The helm seat is a two-person Stidd electric seat upholstered with white leatherette. The seating on the port side is a forward/back guest seating. In addition, there is room for a teak lounge chair. The bench seats and L-settee are tastefully upholstered in a navy and white plaid Sunbrella. Finally, the fiberglass dinghy with outboard motor is on the FLYBRIDGE along with an electric davit system, making launching of the dinghy very easy for one person. The 3/4 sided Bimini (with zip-out windows and panels) consists of two separate sections. The aft section can be retracted separately for more sun on the FLYBRIDGE. Navy Sunbrella covers provide protection for all seating, the dinghy and the table.
