An all round seaworthy performer, the Grand Banks 36 Classic is capable of real deep water cruising. Long keel, 26,000 lb displacement, hard chine, and a deep forefoot hull provide stability and seaworthiness. Her spacious and well refined interior provide comfort and elegance in a very manageable package.

Deck/Flybridge

High bulwarks with sturdy Stainless Steel handrails and grabrails on the house sides along with wide teak side decks provide a safe and secure environment. Easy deck access via either the port, starboard or stern boarding gates (using the teak swim platform and steps). Theres an anchor pulpit with a 35 lb CQR anchor (with 200 ft. of 5/16 chain) for easy anchoring either from the pulpit or both helms.



Theres a full electronics package venturi windscreen, and extra stowage beneath the console. An enclosed electronics locker next to the flybridge helm provides space to house essential electronics equipment. The long and wide flybridge has seating for six adults. Under the seats are teak slatted watertight stowage compartments.





Main salon

Full size port and starboard doors provide easy access and plenty of natural ventilation when combined with the opening screened windows. The interior is finished in warm, golden hued satin varnished teak complimented by dark blue Ultrasuede upholstery.


The full equipped galley is to port forward opposite the steering station to starboard. The galley features a Norcold front loading AC/DC refrigerator, Sharp R-820 BK convection/microwave oven; Princess 3-burner LPG stove; and a single, deep stainless steel sink.


The lower helm station features a Raymarine RL8OC Chartplotter with radar; Raymarine ST 6001 Autopilot; Ray- marine ST6O Tridata (depth and speed); Standard Horizon radio and 5 Ritchie compass. All electronics are duplicated at the bridge steering station.


Aft of the steering station is an L-shaped setee, with dark blue ultrasuede upholstery and a teak drop-leaf table.




Accommodations

The aft master stateroom is also finished with hand-rubbed, satin varnished teak and features a large center island double berth. Drawer and locker storage are provided underneath, in built-in nightstands and bulkheads. A large hanging locker with dual access is also included. Large sliding glass windows on both sides and a large overhead Bomar hatch with built-in screen and shade provide natural light and ventilation. A separate head with shower in the master stateroom feature top quality Moen fixtures and Corian surfaces making this a very livable space.




The forward guest stateroom boasts its own head with shower, v-berth, cedar lined hanging locker and plenty of storage space. Opening windows and hatch make this a surprisingly inviting and livable area.
